Good food and service. Had chicken ravioli. Nice atmosphere. Friendly people. Will come back.

Came in for the Yerba Mate tea in their little mini international store. Food smelled enticing, so we sat and ordered. They let us know up-front that everything was made from scratch and there would be a wait. There was a game on the tv and clean dining area, unfortunately the seats are wooden and not very comfortable. Casual atmosphere, several family size tables, and outdoor seating. Handicap accessible dining area. Food was definitely worth the wait! The empanadas were unbelievable. Filling was ground beef, egg, tomato sauce and perfectly seasoned, with a crispy pastry that wasn't doughy inside. Wish it had a dipping sauce. The House sandwich was good, with absolutely perfect bread. My egg was well done, would have been better if it had a drippy yolk, so I made notes to ask for that next time. Fries were good, thin crispy shoestring fries that weren't over-salted (salt on table, so easy to adjust to your liking). Also ordered the pepperoni pizza, which was awesome! Love the cheese, not too much sauce, and the crust!!! Omg the perfect crispy fluffy pan crust. Overall really pleased. Definitely adding this to our regular rotation. *** My only complaint (which does NOT reflect on the cafe) was the handicap parking was blocked by construction equipment and a dumpster. I called the number for Clearfield Junction to let them know and they couldn't have been more apathetic. The woman I spoke with was pretty much "Yeah, so?" and basically said to just go to another business then if I need handicap parking. They definitely didn't care about the impact of their tenets or their customers. ***

Coming soon to a larger, beautiful corner location next to the Clearfield library city center, I don't expect the almost-20-year-old restaurant to lose its hand-crafted charm. I was won over by the warm-hearted mega-friendliness of the proprietors and staff while having an early summer lunch under the warm-ish shade of the original restaurant's front veranda. Yet the simple Choripan plate of warm, toasted, chewy bread wrapping a house-made Argentinian chorizo with chimichurri sauce ($9) didn't let me down either. Only a better grade of patatas fritas and a wrap-up of Argentinian-style espresso, were it available instead of (not so great) drip coffee, would have rounded it up to a perfect five-star workaday lunch.

Such a cool little spot. Simple food, made with care. Delicious. It felt like a family member was making me food.

Unique really good food. Basic design and not fancy but the food was very good You can also order food to cook at home. Try the potato salad and empanadas

Perfect date would be to get a dozen empanadas and try one of each :) This little place is literally tucked away in a corner, it has a tiny dining room and and our server was our chef. Love the vibe. I feel as if I'm a part of the family.

This small yet charming place had excellent food, but more importantly, it made us feel as though we had been invited to dinner at a friend's house. The food was prepared with care, the service was and jovial and professional while making us feel like family. Do not miss out on this hidden gem!
